Easy transit positioning

Guria sits directly on the Tbilisi–Batumi route. It is effortless to include as an overnight stop rather than passing straight through.

Rainy but mild

Like all of western Georgia, Guria gets significant rainfall. Pack a waterproof; the green landscape is the direct result.

Food is the highlight

Gurian cuisine is distinct — try gebzhalia (cheese and mint rolls in whey sauce) and the spiced Gurian khinkali. Eat where locals eat.
